ArabsWorldwide.com was founded by a Jordanian American who had searched the Internet for the opportunity to interact with other members of the same ethnicity. Finding few resources, it seemed apparent there was a need to develop an online community where Arabs could gather to connect with old friends, form new friendships, share common interests, and foster a sense of unity, all while bridging any distance among us. Many of us are so busy that our lives make it difficult to connect with others and meet new people in more conventional ways. Arabs Worldwide attempts to unite our worldwide community by making it possible for us to connect with others across the globe in a safe and relaxing environment via the Internet. Arabs Worldwide offers its community members the opportunity to connect with other Arab men and women, network with others for professional or business opportunities, share ideas and interests, discuss news and local and world events, post our thoughts and opinions in discussion forums and blogs, share our favorite songs and videos, join special interest groups and most importantly, stay united. We are also very excited to bring to you periodic public campaigns that are designed to foster awareness of social and economic issues that affect us a people.
